Brett is a life-long resident of Lincoln County, MS, where he grew up with strong family ties, a hard work ethic and a passion for the outdoors. He graduated from West Lincoln High School in 2009, Co-Lin Community College in 2011, and Mississippi State University in 2014. Brett received his B.S. degree from the MSU College of Forest Resources. His degree is in Forestry with an emphasis on Wildlife Management. During his tenure at Mississippi State, Brett worked as a part-time forest technician on lands owned by Mississippi State University and as a summer intern for the Mississippi Forestry Commission on the Southern Pine Beetle Prevention Program. He now holds credentials as a Registered Forester, Associate Wildlife Biologist and Real Estate Agent in the state of Mississippi. Brett is married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica. Jessica’s heart is for helping people, and she
works as a Registered Nurse at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. They live in the West Lincoln community together and worship at the Johnson Grove Church of Christ.
