WAYNE SOJOURNER
Owner / Logger
The Sojourner family transitioned into the wood business in the 1980’s and are still very active in the land and timber business today. Wayne’s logging crew has always been very sought after by landowners in south and central Mississippi. They were chosen as Outstanding Logger of the Year for the state of Mississippi in 2002 and continue to be very involved in their local Copiah County Forestry Association, Log-A-Load for Kids, MS Forestry Association, and MS Logger’s Association.
As an owner in LandMAX with his partner Chad Smith, Wayne’s heart is to see his businesses operated in such a way that Christ is always glorified. He wants to see LandMAX be successful in the timber and real estate business, but, more than anything else, he wants to see people’s lives changed through the power of Jesus.
If you ever have land or timber to sell, call Wayne; he welcomes the opportunity to talk to you. However, if you ever need someone to talk to about issues that really matter, feel free to contact him. He would love the opportunity to share with you about what the Lord has done in his life and what He can do in yours.
TESTIMONIALS

When a landowner is looking for long-term timber management assistance or an immediate thinning or final harvest operation one wants expertise, experience and trust. We use and recommend Keith Polk and Wayne Sojourner at LANDMAX TIMBER COMPANY. They not only do a thorough and excellent job, but they treat your land as if it were their own. Proper advice and proper cutting from trusting people are what landowners want and need. – Kent Newman and Sells Newman

I have known Wayne Sojourner for many years. All of Wayne’s life he has been an asset to our community in Crystal Springs, MS. Last year Wayne harvested my timber & did an excellent job not only harvesting my timber but also walking me through the process of having my land replanted. I would recommend Wayne & LandMAX to anyone. You will find them people of high integrity. – Bruce Gaddy

Last year Wayne Sojourner performed & managed the harvesting operation on the Camp Hood Boy Scout Reservation in Copiah County, MS. In every way Wayne exercised good judgment and leadership in removing the timber with little damage to the remaining trees and to the camp appurtenances. He was cordial to all, and did much to make this necessary logging operation a success. This was a big operation and could have had a much different outcome without Wayne’s leadership and commitment. He was a pleasure to work with. – Ramon Callahan
